David Matthew Prior brings 25 years as a Coach Practitioner working with senior executives, team leaders and global leadership teams across the continents (North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific, EMEA) in Fortune 500’s and NGOs. He’s a Thunderbird graduate with an MBA in International Business and an ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC) and Board-Certified Coach (BCC) through CCE.
David’s approach to leadership development is focused on performance with integrity to align the business, organization, teams, and leadership to simultaneously hold an authentic public and private stance in work and life; where the two meet is where the integral leader lives. It is this space that leaders and their teams inhabit that requires truth-telling, safety, structure, and communication mastery.
David serves on numerous coaching faculty teams, including Columbia University’s Coaching Certification Program, the Systemic Team Coaching Diploma Program-North America, Global Team Coaching Institute (GTCI), Six Team Conditions, and the University of Texas – Dallas. In addition to being a university-accredited Coaching Supervisor (Oxford Brookes), he has designed and delivered Internal Coach and Manager as Coach programs. David previously served as a Vice President on the ICF Global Board and as Co-Chair the ICF Ethics & Standards Committee.
David’s earlier career began as a Trust Officer for Chase Bank-Texas which was proceeded by a dramatic move to devote 10 years in the New York professional theatre as an actor, director and instructor of improvisation.
